Sing sweet bird bracelet and jewelry boxes

Hi everyone,
Here is a quick post just to share with you the new bracelet I've made and few jewelry boxes.
The little square bezels are made from silver clay and they measure a bit less than 3/4 of an inch. I've used some cute little birds collage paper and crystal clear resin to fill the squares and here's the result. Hope you enjoy it!

And here are some jewelry boxes I played with last weekend. So much fun to make these little cuties! :)

Gift bag and some more jewellery

These last 3 months of the year are always very busy for me, with lots of birthdays in both my husband's family and mine, so this means making lots of presents!LOL
Next week will be one of my sister in law's birthday, so I made for her a bracelet and earings to match, I hope she will like them. I used silver wire 18, 20 and 22 gauge and african turquoise, fancy jasper beads and Swarovski crystals. I closed the bracelet with an egyptian clasp, you can find a very good tutorial here http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=KateDrewWilkinson&view=videos.
For the gift bag I used gesso, modeling paste, tissue paper, Stewart Gill acrylics, cotton bandage, collage, stamps, inks, scrapbook papers, fibers and UTEE.
So here is Mairead's present!

And some details:

Thanks for your visit and for all your beautiful, supportive comments.

Have a wonderful week,
Lots of love,
Sanda xx

My very first attempt in making jewellery

Hi everyone,
Like I said, this is my first try with jewellery and I can say  that I'm totally hooked already! LOL
And this is not all, it is also my first try with art silver clay! It is FANTASTIC!!! Pure magic and sooo easy to work with! I'm really delighted, this is soo much fun!
For this necklace I have used silver wires 18 and 22 gauge, silver chain, lapis lazuli and turquoise beads and art silver clay for making the butterfly. After I fired the butterfly I oxidized it a bit in a liver of sulphur solution. The colours are truly beautiful. The wire bead and toggle are made after taking a class with Lisa Niven Kelly at http://www.beaducation.com/.
I hope you'll like it as much as I enjoyed making it!

And some details:

Thanks for your visit,

Have a lovely Sunday, lots of love,
Sanda xx
