My first Norah's faces and experiments with PanPastels

Hi everyone,
It's been a while since I posted anything, but it's only the lack of time that's keeping me away from the computer.
First, I want to thank you so much for all your lovely, warm comments, they are so precious to me! And second, I was asked by few of you why my new posts don't appear like updates on some of your blogs. To be honest, I don't have a clue, everything seems to work well here. If you know what could be the trick, please let me know and I'll try my best to fix it.
Now, like I told you, I started new classes with Sharon Tomlinson of http://allnorahsart.blogspot.com/ and I'm more than delighted! She is such a wonderful, talented artist, a great teacher and supportive friend! She shares LOTS of interesting techniques and the workshop is full of bonus lessons, so, if you are interested come and jump in the fun!
Here are my first two canvases (5"x5") that I worked in her class.

You can see some details here:

For the second canvas, I experimented with some PanPastels Artist Pastels, mixing them with acrylics, collage and stamps. I was delighted with the result, this is a FANTASTIC product, so easy and fun to work with!
Here is another project I started using them, this time on watercolor paper.

Hope you like them!:)
Thanks for your visit, have a great week,
Lots of love, Sanda xx

New classes, Zendoodle and Klimt inspiration

Hi everyone,
Only few more days until the workshop given by Sharon Tomlinson will start! I just can't wait!

You can see all the details about it on her blog http://allnorahsart.blogspot.com/.

And now, I would like to share with you my last painting I've finished today. It is something completely new for me, but I love to try new things and challenge myself from time to time!
So, here it is, a bit of Klimt inspiration mixed with some zendoodle.

You can see some details here:

I worked on a 10"x14" canvas board and I used Golden acrylics (both, heavy body and fluid), pages from an old book, scrapbook paper, tissue paper, watercolor crayons, charcoal pencil, matte medium, Sennelier oil pastels, gesso, birdy stamp, small heart punch, black India ink, Copic multi liner and a white gel pen.
Hope you like the result!

Thanks for your visit and all your lovely  comments! I really appreciate them!

Lots of love,
Sanda xx
