Just another one

Hi everyone,
I have made this card taking a short break from the painting I'm working right now. For the little inchies I've used stamps, clear embossing powder, Versamark, Adirondac and Glimmer Mist inks, white embossing powder for the snowflakes and tiny rhinestones. The central image is a Tim Holtz stamp, stamped with black Stazon ink and embossed with holografic embosing powder.
Hopefully they will be in my Etsy shop soon!
And here some details:

Hope you'll like it! And now I'm off to my painting!

Thanks for your visit,

Lots of love, Sanda xx

A precious award

Hi everyone,

I have received a few days ago a very precious award from Julie-Ann at http://heavenleighart.blogspot.com/. I imagine you already know her, but for all of you who don't, please take few minutes and visit her blog. You'll find there MUCH more than fabulous art. It's a magical place where, once discovered, you wish to come back over and over again. She is a truly GREAT lady, artist and friend.

Gift bag and some more jewellery

These last 3 months of the year are always very busy for me, with lots of birthdays in both my husband's family and mine, so this means making lots of presents!LOL
Next week will be one of my sister in law's birthday, so I made for her a bracelet and earings to match, I hope she will like them. I used silver wire 18, 20 and 22 gauge and african turquoise, fancy jasper beads and Swarovski crystals. I closed the bracelet with an egyptian clasp, you can find a very good tutorial here http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=KateDrewWilkinson&view=videos.
For the gift bag I used gesso, modeling paste, tissue paper, Stewart Gill acrylics, cotton bandage, collage, stamps, inks, scrapbook papers, fibers and UTEE.
So here is Mairead's present!

And some details:

Thanks for your visit and for all your beautiful, supportive comments.

Have a wonderful week,
Lots of love,
Sanda xx

My very first attempt in making jewellery

Hi everyone,
Like I said, this is my first try with jewellery and I can say  that I'm totally hooked already! LOL
And this is not all, it is also my first try with art silver clay! It is FANTASTIC!!! Pure magic and sooo easy to work with! I'm really delighted, this is soo much fun!
For this necklace I have used silver wires 18 and 22 gauge, silver chain, lapis lazuli and turquoise beads and art silver clay for making the butterfly. After I fired the butterfly I oxidized it a bit in a liver of sulphur solution. The colours are truly beautiful. The wire bead and toggle are made after taking a class with Lisa Niven Kelly at http://www.beaducation.com/.
I hope you'll like it as much as I enjoyed making it!

Thanks for your visit,

Have a lovely Sunday, lots of love,
