A Guardian Angel for Renee

I just found out from sweet, caring Darla, the news about Renee http://circlingmyhead.blogspot.com/ and her family and I'm praying for them all!
I thought to send her this way my Guardian Angel to protect them, to give them strength and hope.

New work

Hi, my friends,

It seems that, no matter what I do, I can only manage to post every two weeks. The truth is that with so much going on lately, I decided to keep myself away from the computer, in order to be able to work.

So, first I would like to share with you my new petite doll, which is actually a sweet little fairy!

It's a mixed media painting measuring 12"x16", that I'm very happy with! Isn't she cute?It's really a pitty that you can't see all the glitter and gold leaf! They are really shining and sparkling wonderfully.

The text, printed on PC with Handhand font, says:

" Spread your wings and let the fairy in you fly"

And the next one is only a project, a drawing that I've made in my Moleskine journal and so far I'm very pleased with the result.

A whole new world

Hi everyone,

I know, I know, I didn't post anything for a long time, but I was learning and working like mad, if this is any excuse for my absence. But... here I am now, ready to share with you a whole world of bliss and magic that opened for me when I've joined Suzi Blu's Les Petit Academy and Willowing's Wonderful World of Whimsy!!! If you didn't do it already, take a few moments and check their websites and believe me, you won't regret it! :):)
Right now I'm taking two classes with these two WONDERFUL, AMAZING artists and, as if I wasn't busy enough, I just signed for the third one! How crazy is that? LOLOL
In fact, I can't wait to start the new class, The Goddess and the Poet, again with Suzi Blu.
Learning and working with Suzi Blu is a fantastic experience in itself! She is the most genuine, loving and inspiring person and artist I have ever met, a breath of fresh air. She opens the gates for you to step into a magical world, where everything becomes possible. It's the world of your hidden, inner creativity. And before you even know it, you start drawing and painting and expressing yourself in a way that you couldn't before. You are a child again, allowing yourself to express freely, without any inhibitions or fears of failure. And you know what?
There is NO failure! Suzi told me so!!!

This is my last, still in work, painting that I want to share with you. Hope you will enjoy it as much as I do when I'm painting it.
