New classes, Zendoodle and Klimt inspiration

Hi everyone,
Only few more days until the workshop given by Sharon Tomlinson will start! I just can't wait!

You can see all the details about it on her blog http://allnorahsart.blogspot.com/.

And now, I would like to share with you my last painting I've finished today. It is something completely new for me, but I love to try new things and challenge myself from time to time!
So, here it is, a bit of Klimt inspiration mixed with some zendoodle.

You can see some details here:

I worked on a 10"x14" canvas board and I used Golden acrylics (both, heavy body and fluid), pages from an old book, scrapbook paper, tissue paper, watercolor crayons, charcoal pencil, matte medium, Sennelier oil pastels, gesso, birdy stamp, small heart punch, black India ink, Copic multi liner and a white gel pen.
Hope you like the result!

Thanks for your visit and all your lovely  comments! I really appreciate them!

Lots of love,
Sanda xx

Love angel in progress

Hi everyone and a very happy, healthy and creative 2010 to you all!

It feels like ages since my last post and I know I was a very bad blogger, but my energy levels were a bit low and I really needed to recharge my batteries, so I decided to slow down a bit, for a while.
But now I'm back, ready for new challenges and adventures in my art journey! And I brought with me my new painting that I'm working on to share it with you. In fact it's almost ready.
I was inspired by a new FABULOUS artist I have discovered few days ago. Her name is Sharon Tomlinson and after I saw her youtube videos I knew I must try this! She is a wonderful, great artist and very soon (hopefully) she will have an online class!!! I just can't wait! Here is her blog adress http://allnorahsart.blogspot.com/ and her youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=allnorahsart#g/u, you might be interested.

So, here is my Love Angel, hope you'll like her!

You can see some of the details here:

I've worked on a 9"x 12" canvas board, using Golden acrylic paints, watersoluble ink pencils, stamps, tissue paper, napkins, scrapbook paper, skeleton leaves, stencils, Stewart Gill Fresco flakes and a Copic multi liner.
And I also went back to Madonna and Child icon, doing a bit more work.

Some details:

Hope you like them!

Have a wonderful weekend in spite of awful weather ( we had freezing, snowy weather for few weeks and now it changed for 'better' - wind and rain!!!LOL),
Lots of love,
Sanda xx
